The 33.5cm E-Vac roll sits right at the limit of what a standard 34cm seal bar machine can handle, giving V.300 and V.333 users the widest possible roll width.

Extra Width for Wide Flat Products

A large flat fish, a wide cut of meat, a rack of ribs laid flat, or a full tray of portioned items all fit across the 33.5cm width where a 30cm roll would be just short.
Honeycomb Structure for Wider Packs
From 33.5cm width up, LAVA changes the foil structure to a honeycomb pattern. On a wider pack there is more surface area for air to travel across, and the honeycomb channels pull that air out faster and more evenly than a fine line structure would.
LAVA presses this structure into the film rather than laminating it on, which is why the weld holds and the channel does not collapse under vacuum.
