(20 x 30cm) x 100pcs – Metallized Vacuum Seal Bags – ESD Anti-static

$179.90

The most versatile size in the I-Vac range. At 20cm wide and 30cm long — approximately 27cm usable after both end welds — the 20x30cm covers the widest range of standard electronic components: full-size motherboards, PCI-E expansion cards, standard PCBs, IC trays, and most module-format components that do not require the extended length of the 15x69cm or the larger width of the 25x50cm or 30x35cm formats. 100 bags per pack. Metallised multilayer barrier film, Swiss-made, certified to MIL-B-81705 Type 1 Class 1, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, and EOS/ESD standards.

I-Vac 20 x 30cm EMI Shielding Bag

The Widest Range of Standard Components — In One Format

The 20x30cm sits at the centre of the I-Vac range for the same reason the 20x30cm R-Vac sits at the centre of the food bag range: it covers the largest variety of standard product dimensions in one format.

20 x 30cm Standard component format
27cm Approx. usable internal length
100 Bags per commercial pack

Central Size for Commercial Electronics Packaging

The 20x30cm format gives enough width for common boards, cards, trays, drive modules, processor packages, and component strips while still keeping the bag compact enough for efficient storage, labelling, transport, and batch processing.

Full-Size Expansion Cards and PCIe Boards

A full-length PCIe expansion card at 312mm x 111mm sits within the 20x30cm bag with the card centred and adequate clearance above the top edge for a clean weld.

Standard ATX and mITX Motherboard Sections

Smaller board formats such as mITX, mini-STX, and industrial SBC formats seal in the 20x30cm bag with appropriate clearance. For full ATX boards, the 30x35cm I-Vac size is the correct format.

IC Trays and Component Strips

Standard 24-pin IC DIP trays, surface-mount component carrier strips, and cut component reel sections fit within 20x30cm at standard commercial dimensions.

Processor and GPU Die Packages

LGA and AM5 processor packages, GPU die packages, and FPGA modules can be sealed individually for long-term storage, RMA processing, or shipment.

HDD and SSD Modules up to 18cm

A 2.5-inch SSD or standard M.2 2280 module fits with enough space above the component for a clean weld and clear label area on the front of the bag.

ESD, EMI, and Moisture Protection

The metallised barrier provides ESD protection, EMI shielding, and moisture protection across the full component surface during storage and transport.

Dry-Pack Moisture Barrier

The WVTR of less than 0.0003 g/100in² per day keeps moisture-sensitive components within the dry-pack limits required by IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033.

Why 100 Bags

Electronics manufacturers, repair depots, procurement operations, and testing facilities process components in quantities where a 100-bag pack is the practical unit. At $1.80 per bag, the 20x30cm is the most cost-effective size in the range per unit for standard commercial component quantities.

External and Chamber Machine Compatible

The bag is compatible with both external vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers. Any LAVA vacuum sealer with a 20cm or wider seal bar handles this bag without modification.

Best For

PCIe expansion cards, SBC and mITX boards, IC trays and component strips, processor and GPU packages, 2.5-inch SSDs and M.2 modules, and most standard electronic component formats up to 18cm wide and up to 24cm in length.

Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all LAVA vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers. Any external sealer with a 20cm or wider seal bar handles this bag.

I-Vac 20 x 30cm — Common Questions

What is the difference between the 20x30cm and the other I-Vac sizes?

Yes. The I-Vac is compatible with both external vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers. This gives manufacturing and logistics operations flexibility to run I-Vac bags on existing chamber equipment alongside other packaging.
Yes. The I-Vac 20x30cm meets MIL-B-81705 Type 1, Class 1. Full compliance documentation is available on request. Contact LAVA Australia for procurement documentation for defence, aerospace, or quality management system requirements.
Yes. The I-Vac is compatible with both external vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers. This gives manufacturing and logistics operations flexibility to run I-Vac bags on existing chamber equipment alongside other packaging.
No. A standard ATX board is 305mm x 244mm — 244mm wide exceeds the approximately 170mm of usable internal width in a 20cm bag after the bag compresses around the board edges. For full ATX boards and larger PCBs, the 30x35cm I-Vac (listed on the hub page) is the appropriate size.
The bag is nominally 20cm wide. After the bag walls compress to the side edges of the component during vacuum, the effective working width is approximately 17-18cm for flat components. Components up to approximately 18cm at their widest dimension seat correctly in the 20x30cm bag.

Yes. Custom I-Vac bags are available from 2,000 units. Contact LAVA Australia to discuss dimensions, compliance requirements, and pricing.

We expected to buy a chamber vacuum sealer. Fortunately, this was not necessary as these bags work perfectly with our external vacuum sealer
