I-Vac 15 x 69cm EMI Shielding Bag

Same Width as the 15x30cm — More Than Twice the Length for Longer Components

The 15x69cm exists for components that share the same 15cm-width requirement as the 15x30cm bag but run significantly longer.

15x30

Shorter Narrow Format

The 15x30cm I-Vac bag handles PCBs and narrow components up to approximately 27cm in length.

VS

Why This Long Narrow Size Matters

This bag is made for assemblies that are narrow enough for a 15cm width but too long for compact bags. It lets long components stay straight inside the bag instead of being bent, coiled, angled, or packed into a wider bag with unnecessary film on the sides.

Extended PCB Strip Assemblies

Long PCBs used in LED lighting strips, industrial control panels, or custom circuit configurations can run from 40cm to 60cm in length. At 15cm wide, the PCB strip sits centrally with ESD and EMI protection along the full length.

Long Sensor Cable Assemblies and Probe Modules

Sensor cables with connectors, long probe assemblies for medical or laboratory equipment, and elongated instrument modules can be sealed before shipping or long-term storage without bending or coiling.

Tube and Rod-Shaped Electronic Components

Fluorescent tube assemblies, rod-format sensors, elongated transducers, and similar cylindrical components up to 60cm in length and up to 13cm in diameter fit the long narrow format.

Long Flat Cable Bundles

Ribbon cables, flat-flex cables, and multi-conductor flat assemblies folded into a 15cm-wide flat format can be sealed at full unfolded length for transport or storage.

Rack-Mount Component Strips

Some 1U and 2U rack equipment components, including expansion cards, long daughterboards, and format-specific motherboard sections, benefit from a long narrow protective bag during storage or shipment.

Same I-Vac Metallised Barrier Protection

The metallised barrier film meets the same compliance standards as every other bag in the I-Vac range: MIL-B-81705 Type 1 Class 1 for ESD protection, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 for Moisture Sensitive Device handling, and EOS/ESD for electrostatic overstress protection. WVTR is less than 0.0003 g per 100 square inches per day, meeting the MIL-B-81705 moisture barrier requirement for dry-pack storage.

Best For

Extended PCB strip assemblies at 40-60cm length, long sensor cable assemblies and probe modules, tube and rod-format components up to 60cm, long flat cable bundles, rack-mount component strips, and any narrow electronic assembly up to 13cm wide and up to 63cm in length requiring ESD, EMI, and moisture protection.

Machine Compatibility

The bag is compatible with both external vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers, giving operations flexibility in their sealing equipment. Compatible with all LAVA vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum packers. Any external sealer with a 15cm or wider seal bar handles this bag.

I-Vac 15 x 69cm — Common Questions

What is the difference between the 15x69cm and the 15x30cm I-Vac bags?

Thickness. The ES-Vac is 160 micron, the standard E-Vac is 90 micron. Both are Swiss-made PA/PE with the same structured channel surface. Choose ES-Vac when your product has bones, shells, or sharp edges, or when you are storing for very long periods. For everyday boneless food, the standard E-Vac is fine and costs less.
The 25cm width is for larger cuts. A bone-in rack, a whole fish, or a large game cut needs the extra width to sit flat with sealing margin on both sides. It also lets you seal two standard portions side by side in one cut. If most of what you seal is narrow, like sausages or single cutlets, the 15cm or 20cm roll wastes less film. Match the roll width to your product so the seal sits clear of the contents.
It seals reliably on any LAVA machine with adjustable sealing time, which covers the full current range. The thicker 160-micron foil needs a slightly longer heat cycle than a standard bag, so set the sealing time one or two levels higher. Fixed-time machines, including most consumer food savers, often cannot weld 160-micron film properly. Check your machine before ordering.
Yes. The film is dishwasher safe and the 160-micron gauge holds up to repeated washing and resealing better than thinner film. Wash, dry, and reseal as long as the bag is intact and was not used for raw meat or fish.
A roll lets you set the length for each product. With larger cuts that vary in size, a roll means you are never forced into a fixed bag size. You cut exactly what each product needs and waste nothing. If you prefer a fixed-size heavy-duty bag, the RS-Vac 160-micron bags cover the common sizes.
Yes. We can produce any size of ES-Vac roll from 2,000 units. Contact us with your specification.

We expected to buy a chamber vacuum sealer. Fortunately, this was not necessary as these bags work perfectly with our external vacuum sealer
