Caring for Your Manual Vacuum Pump
The manual vacuum pump is designed to not come into contact with food, making cleaning and maintenance minimal. If it becomes dirty, simply wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth.
To keep the pump in top condition, avoid washing it in the dishwasher. Doing so may cause issues with the sliding action. If over time the operation becomes less smooth, simply extend the pump fully and lubricate the inner tube with paraffin oil. This will help to maintain the smooth operation of the pump for years to come.
