(25 x 50cm) x 100pcs – Antistatic Bags for External Vacuum Sealing Machines

$314.90

Anti-static vacuum bags for electronic components, built on a metallised barrier foil that protects sensitive hardware from static discharge, moisture, and physical damage. At 25 x 50cm with 100 bags per pack, this size suits larger boards, full assemblies, and multi-component shipments. Swiss-made to recognised ESD and military packaging standards.

A key advantage: these bags seal on both chamber and external vacuum machines, so you do not need to invest in a chamber sealer to use them.

Note: Not all vacuum machines can seal aluminium composite foils. See compatibility below.

I-Vac 25 x 50cm Metallised Anti-Static Bag

25 x 50cm — The Large-Format Size for Boards and Assemblies

The I-Vac is LAVA's anti-static range, built for buyers protecting electronics rather than packing food.

25 x 50cm

Large-Format I-Vac Size

At 25cm wide and 50cm long it accommodates full-size motherboards, large PCBs, populated assemblies, server and networking hardware, and multi-component shipments grouped into a single bag.

Built for Electronics, Not Food

The metallised barrier foil shields against electrostatic discharge, blocks moisture, and resists punctures, which makes it the right packaging for circuit boards, drives, modules, and any component sensitive to static or humidity during storage and transport.

Where the smaller I-Vac sizes suit individual chips, modules, and small boards, this size is for the larger items or for batching several components together for one sealed, protected shipment.

ESD

Electrostatic Protection

Helps shield sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge during storage, handling, and shipping.

EMI

Metallised Barrier

Provides electromagnetic shielding for electronics, modules, drives, boards, and populated assemblies.

WVTR

Low Moisture Transmission

Blocks moisture transfer with a very low moisture transmission rate for dry-pack storage requirements.

20+

Puncture Resistance

The foil construction resists punctures, making it suitable for boards, drives, hardware, and mixed component shipments.

Full-Size Motherboards and Large PCBs

The 25 x 50cm format gives larger boards and PCB assemblies the room needed for a clean seal and protected storage.

Populated Assemblies

Ideal for assembled electronics, mounted boards, and component groups that need one sealed protective package.

Server and Networking Hardware

Suitable for larger electronics used in server, networking, control, testing, and repair environments.

Drives and Modules

Gives room for drives, modules, card assemblies, and sensitive parts that require ESD, EMI, and moisture protection.

Multi-Component Shipments

Useful when several related parts need to be grouped into one sealed, protected shipment or storage pack.

Military Packaging Standards

Designed for electronics packaging standards including MIL-B-81705 Type 1 Class 1 and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033.

Works on External Sealers and Chamber Machines

The single most useful feature for most buyers is that these bags work on standard external vacuum sealers as well as chamber machines. ESD bags conventionally require a chamber sealer, which is a significant capital purchase.

The I-Vac foil is engineered to seal on an external machine, so an operation that already runs a LAVA external sealer can protect electronics to military packaging standards without buying dedicated equipment. One verified buyer noted exactly this: they expected to need a chamber sealer and found these bags worked on their external machine instead.

Best For

Full-size motherboards and large PCBs, populated assemblies, server and networking hardware, drives and modules, and multi-component shipments sealed together.

Machine Compatibility

Compatible with both chamber vacuum packers and external vacuum sealers, including the LAVA machine range. Confirm your machine is rated to seal aluminium composite foils before ordering.

I-Vac 25 x 50cm — Common Questions

Do these bags need a chamber vacuum sealer?

No. Unlike most ESD bags, the I-Vac foil seals on standard external vacuum sealers as well as chamber machines. This is the main reason buyers choose it: you can package electronics to ESD and military standards without investing in a chamber sealer. Confirm your machine is rated to seal aluminium composite foils first.
The large items and batched shipments. Full-size motherboards, large PCBs, populated assemblies, server hardware, and groups of smaller components sealed together in one bag. For individual chips, small modules, or single small boards, a smaller I-Vac size uses less material.
They are built to MIL-B-81705 Type 1 Class 1, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, EIA 541, EIA 583, EIA 625, and EOS/ESD standards, with a WVTR below 0.0003 g/100 inch²/day and puncture resistance above 20 lbs. The full breakdown of what each standard certifies is on the I-Vac range page, which is useful if you need to cite compliance in a purchase order or quality document.
Yes. The metallised barrier provides ESD shielding and an EMI barrier against static, and the same foil acts as a moisture barrier with a very low water vapour transmission rate. For long-term storage of moisture-sensitive components, pair the bag with a desiccant pack inside the seal.
Yes. The I-Vac range covers several standard sizes, and custom sizes are available from 2,000 units. Contact LAVA Australia with your specification.

We expected to buy a chamber vacuum sealer. Fortunately, this was not necessary as these bags work perfectly with our external vacuum sealer
