Shipping Information
At LAVA Australia, we offer flexible shipping options to meet your needs, including free shipping on qualifying orders.
Free Shipping
Orders of $250 or more (excluding GST) qualify for free standard shipping to any street address within mainland Australia. PO Boxes are not eligible for delivery. Orders under $250 will incur a $9.95 shipping fee.
Delivery Times
- Mainland Australia: 3-12 business days (Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, ACT, NSW, Tasmania and Northern Territory)
Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as weather, shipping delays, or regional lockdowns. We recommend contacting us for express delivery options if your order is time-sensitive.
Express Delivery
For faster delivery, express shipping options are available. Please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and cost. Orders placed by 12pm for express delivery will be processed the same day and arrive within 1-3 business days for metro areas. Delivery times may vary according to Australia Post time frames and zones.
We charge the exact difference between standard and express shipping rates with no additional surcharges. You can calculate express shipping costs using the Australia Post calculator here.
International Shipping
We ship to New Zealand and other Oceania countries. International shipping costs are calculated by weight, and delivery times vary by location:
- New Zealand: 4-14 business days
- Oceania: 5-21 business days
You will not be charged Australian GST for international orders, but your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. Please check with your local authorities.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. You can choose to wait for a restock or receive a full refund if the item cannot be reordered.
Return Policy
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you’re not satisfied, we offer a 30-day return policy for vacuum sealers.
30-Day Trial for Vacuum Sealers
You can test your LAVA vacuum sealer for 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, notify us within 30 days of delivery to initiate a return. Please ensure the vacuum sealer is returned clean, undamaged, and in its original packaging. A refund will be issued once we confirm the return meets these conditions.
Return Conditions
- The vacuum sealer must be in its original packaging and free of obvious signs of damage or misuse.
- Protective films must remain intact.
- The sealer must not be used for items contaminated with substances like liquids, blood, or toxic materials.
- Accessories, vacuum seal bags, and rolls purchased with the sealer must remain unopened and unused, as they are not included in the 30-day trial.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 5% may apply to returned items.
Non-Returnable Items
- Individual order items cannot be returned.
- Damaged or dirty vacuum sealers, as well as products without original packaging, are not eligible for returns.
Return Shipping for Change of Mind
Shipping costs and bank fees for change-of-mind returns are non-refundable. We strongly recommend using insured shipping for all returns, as we are not liable for any losses or damages during transit. We recommend using insured shipping, as LAVA Australia is not liable for any loss or damage during transit.
