WARRANTY

LAVA Australia grants up to 5-year guarantee (details see below) on the goods promoted with the guaranteed promise. The period for the calculation of the warranty period starts with the delivery date to the customer. The warranty of the manufacturer covers Australia as well as all countries of Oceania. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as guarantor under guarantee, grants a free repair of the goods.

Warranty claims are excluded in case of damage to the goods by:

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Operator errors

  • Loss of parts

  • Environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust etc.)

  • Failure to observe any safety precautions

  • Non-compliance with the operating instructions

  • Use of force (e.g. blow, shock, case)

  • Unauthorised repair work

  • Modification

  • Normal wear (e.g. glass-fibre sealing tape or foam sealing)

  • Defective assembly

  • Inappropriate operating materials (electric current/cleaning materials etc.)

A claim of the guarantee requires that the guarantor is allowed to check the warranty claim by sending the goods. Avoiding any damage during transport through appropriate packaging is important.

To apply for the guarantee, you must enclose a copy of the original bill. We please you to understand that the manufacturer can refuse the guarantee without the payment of this invoice copy. The transfer of the invoice copy is used to calculate the warranty period.
Also, you must provide the name and address of the seller, if this does not result from the attached invoice copy.​

Extended Warranty Description

LAVA as a manufacturer stands at 100% behind our product – you will receive upon all Vacuum Packager 2 years standard warranty or up to 5 years warranty with paying an extra charge. The LAVA Australia warranty covers electrical parts, moving parts such as the vacuum sealer pump, the transformer, all electronic parts like circuit boards or counter.

All wear parts such as seals or teflon tapes are not covered!

This warranty can be completed quickly at the purchase of a vacuum sealer for a moderate additional charge.

Policies & Notes

  • The duration of the 5-year warranty is from date of purchase. 

  • The warranty covers all electrical, moving parts such as the Vacuum pump, transformer, electronic card or switches.

  • We do not reimburse shipping costs to/from technicians/buyers.

You can get the extended warranty only directly when purchasing the device.

We are confident that you’ll love our wide variety of high-quality vacuum sealer, that you can use one of our professional vacuum sealers for 14 days. Don’t worry! If you don’t like it, inform us, and as long you met the conditions of the 14 days test use policy, you will get a full refund for the vacuum sealer.

LAVA Australia wants 100% satisfied customer, so please test and enjoy your new LAVA Professional Vacuum Sealer within the 14-days-trial-period. 

NOTE:
The 14 days start with the delivery day.

Just mail your intention to return the vacuum sealer to us during 14 calendar days of delivery.

Fairness Clause:
To remain eligible you must use it properly.  

You are just allowed to vacuum dry non-food products! 

The vacuum cleaner must be clean.

We cannot accept returns on obviously used, damaged or dirty vacuum sealer nor of devices without packaging or in damaged packaging.

LAVA reserves the right to charge full retail rates of any damages.

Full store credit for items in original undamaged packaging only!

Any accessories bought with your vacuum sealer are not included in the 14 days test time. These items must be unused.
Individual order items cannot be returned.

Any credit card charges which we cannot recover is applied to all returns of items held in stock.

Shipping costs (both ways) are not reimbursed.

LAVA Australia is not responsible for losses or damages. We strongly advise you insure your shipment.

The test period can be used just one time per customer.
