LAVA V.1200 Premium XXXL
Every machine in the LAVA range is built for a specific point on the home-to-industrial scale. The V.1200 Premium XXXL is the top of that scale: the widest external vacuum packing machine available anywhere in Australia, and one of the widest available globally.
The 121cm triple-seal bar handles product and packaging formats that no other machine in the range, or in most commercial catalogues, can match. Full carcass-width portions of beef, pork, and large game. Wide-format industrial packaging materials. Sheet-width medical or electronics packaging. Retail-scale display bags for large whole products. If the product or bag does not fit within 72cm, this is the machine.
Three separate pump motors run in parallel, each pulling 35 litres per minute, for a combined flow of 105 litres per minute. The 2,600W sealing transformer drives the triple-seal bar across the full 121cm width cleanly and consistently, without the heat drop-off or inconsistent weld quality that a single-motor machine would show at this scale. Vacuum pressure reaches -0.97 bar, the lowest in the LAVA range.
At 35 kg, with dimensions of 136 x 36 x 17 cm, this is fixed production equipment. It belongs on a dedicated bench in a processing facility, a large-scale commercial kitchen, or an industrial operation. It is not portable and is not designed to be.

Three Pumps that Run Independently
The V.1200 Premium XXXL runs three separate LTP (LAVA Turbo Pump) motors, each with double ball bearings, each pulling 35L/min. Combined throughput is 105L/min,three times the pump speed of the single-motor machines in the V.350 and V.400.
This is not redundancy. It is a mechanical requirement.
Drawing down to -0.97 bar across a 121cm bag requires moving a much larger volume of air from the sealed chamber than any single pump can achieve at production speed. Three motors working in parallel draw the vacuum to -0.97 bar in the same cycle time as a single motor achieves -0.94 bar in a narrower machine. The result is consistent, fast cycle times across the full 121cm, regardless of bag size or product volume.
Each motor operates independently. If one motor requires maintenance, the machine continues to operate on the remaining two, reduced throughput, but not a full production stop. For a facility where the V.1200 is a production-critical piece of equipment, that operating redundancy is a practical consideration.
The -0.97 bar vacuum depth is the deepest in the LAVA range, slightly deeper than the -0.94 bar achieved by the single-motor V.350, V.400, and V.333 models. For dense, large-format products and long-term industrial storage, that extra vacuum depth means a tighter pack and a more secure seal against air re-entry.
121cm,What This Bar Width Actually Covers
The V.1200 Premium XXXL’s 121cm triple-seal bar is not a marginal step up from the V.500’s 72cm. It is nearly double the width, and that opens up a different category of operation entirely.
Full-carcass and large-format meat processing: A whole beef rump, a full leg of a large animal, or a cut that is simply too wide for any narrower bag, the V.1200 handles widths that require a 121cm seal to package cleanly in a single bag without folding, repositioning, or compromising the pack.
Multiple bags per cycle at scale: At 121cm, you can run four or five standard commercial bags simultaneously across the bar in a single cycle. For an abattoir, a large butcher operation, or a food manufacturing facility where throughput is measured in hundreds of bags per hour, that cycle count matters.
Wide-format industrial packaging: Sheet-width packaging materials for large flat components, wide electronic assemblies, construction materials, and large-format medical supply packaging all require a seal bar that goes well beyond what a V.350 or V.400 offers. The V.1200 covers industrial packaging formats that the rest of the range does not.
Retail packaging at production scale: Wide retail display bags, multi-unit packs, and production-line packaging for large consumer goods all benefit from a width of 121cm. The V.1200 is used in food production facilities where the packaging line is sized to the product, not the other way around.
The triple-seal bar produces three separate weld lines across the full 121cm on every bag. At this width, three seams are not a luxury; it is the engineering minimum to guarantee seal integrity across the entire bar on every cycle.
2,600W Driving Triple Welds Across 121cm
The V.1200 Premium XXXL’s 2,600W sealing transformer is more than double the wattage of the V.400 (1,100W) and nearly three times the V.350 (900W). All of that power goes into one task: heating the 121cm triple-seal strip to the right temperature simultaneously across the full bar width, on every cycle, without variation.
Sealing consistency degrades along a wide bar when the transformer cannot maintain uniform heat across its full length. At lower wattages, the strip may seal cleanly at the centre but fall short toward the outer 30-40cm on each side. At 2,600W, the transformer maintains uniform heat across the entire 121cm, producing consistent triple welds from edge to edge on every bag, including through 200-micron industrial-grade foil.
The oversized transformer also means the machine does not overheat during continuous operation. Combined with the fan-cooled stainless steel housing, the V.1200 handles up to 1,000 consecutive sealings per session, the same continuous rating as the rest of the range, regardless of the width of the bags being processed.
Pressure gauge
Shows the exact vacuum level in the bar during every cycle. In automatic mode, the machine seals at -0.97 bar without any input. In manual mode, you watch the needle and trigger the triple seal yourself at your target level.
L+ regulation
Adjustable down to approximately -0.2 bar. For wide-format bags containing pressure-sensitive products, soft food items, fragile materials, or products where a full vacuum would cause damage or deformation, the L+ regulator stops the pump at your target level before the triple weld fires. Setting a reduced vacuum on a 121cm bag is more consequential than on a narrower machine, because any seal failure at this width involves significantly more product and bag material.
LCS+
The magnetic closing system holds the lid closed with a brief press throughout the vacuum cycle. On a 121cm machine, this matters practically, manually holding down a lid of this width during a vacuum cycle would be impractical. The LCS+ handles it automatically.
Industrial Vacuum Packaging at Scale
The V.1200 Premium XXXL is one of LAVA’s recommended machines for ESD anti-static bag sealing (i-Vac) and for wide-format industrial vacuum packaging across electronics manufacturing, medical supply, engineering, and production environments.
At 121cm, it handles the widest industrial bag formats on the market, wide circuit board assemblies, large flat panel packaging, sheet-material industrial bags, and any wide-format application where the standard 46cm or 72cm machines are insufficient.
The stainless steel housing tolerates the conditions of a food processing or industrial facility. The 20-year spare parts guarantee and the independent three-motor configuration support long-term operation in production environments where the machine is used daily and maintenance downtime needs to be minimised.
Bags, Rolls, and Containers
One button press switches the V.1200 Premium XXXL to container mode. It works with LAVA vacuum containers in glass, plastic, and stainless steel, standard preserving jars and pots with a compatible vacuum valve, and cans with a valve lid.
For bag and roll sealing: any embossed vacuum bag or roll up to 121cm wide and up to 6 metres in length. The adjustable sealing time covers thin dry-aging bags through to 200-micron industrial-thickness foil. LAVA’s vacuum sealer bags and vacuum seal rolls are available up to the widths that suit the rest of the LAVA range, for bags wider than standard catalogue sizes, custom-width rolls are the practical solution.
Who the V.1200 Premium XXXL Is Built For
Abattoirs and large-scale meat processors: Processing whole carcasses or large primal cuts requires a seal width that standard commercial machines lack. The V.1200 handles full-width cuts and allows multiple standard bags to run simultaneously, keeping pace with the throughput of a production processing line.
Large commercial seafood operations: Whole large fish, wide fish portions, and flat seafood packed for retail or wholesale distribution are the exact use case for a 121cm bar. The -0.97 bar depth and triple-seal handle wet the product cleanly at this scale.
Food manufacturing facilities: Production-line packaging of large consumer food products, wide-format retail bags, and multi-unit packs all suit the V.1200’s seal width and cycle capacity.
Industrial manufacturers and electronics facilities: Wide-format ESD bag sealing, large component packaging, sheet-material vacuum packaging, and any industrial application requiring airtight sealing beyond 72cm.
Medical supply and laboratory operations: Wide-format sterile packaging for medical equipment, large instrument packaging, and laboratory supply vacuum sealing at production volume.

V.1200 vs. V.500 XXL: The V.500 Premium XXL has a 72cm bar, three pumps at 3x20L/min (60L/min combined), and 1,800W. It reaches -0.97 bar, the same as the V.1200. The V.1200 steps up to 121cm, 3x35L/min (105L/min combined), and 2,600W. If 72cm covers your widest product or bag, the V.500 is the right machine. If you need to seal wider than 72cm, the V.1200 is the only option in the LAVA range.
V.1200 vs. V.400 Premium XL: The step from a 46cm single-motor machine to a 121cm three-motor machine is significant in every dimension, width, pump power, transformer wattage, weight, and footprint. The V.400 is a commercial bench machine for butcher shops and restaurants. The V.1200 is production-facility equipment. The buyer, considering the V.1200, has almost certainly already outgrown the V.400.

LAVA V.1200 Premium Common Questions
What is the difference between the V.1200 Premium XXXL and the V.500 Premium XXL?
Seal bar width and pump power. The V.500 Premium XXL has a 72cm bar with three motors at 3x20L/min (60L/min combined) and 1,800W. The V.1200 Premium XXXL has a 121cm bar with three motors at 3x35L/min (105L/min combined) and 2,600W. Vacuum pressure is -0.97 bar on both machines. If 72cm covers your widest product format, the V.500 is the right machine. The V.1200 is for operations where 72cm is not enough.
Why does this machine have three pump motors?
Drawing -0.97 bar vacuum quickly across a 121cm bag requires moving significantly more air per cycle than any single motor can handle at production speed. Three independent LTP motors running in parallel achieve -0.97 bar in a practical cycle time across the full 121cm chamber. Each motor also operates independently,if one requires service, the remaining two continue to operate while maintenance is arranged.
How many bags can I seal simultaneously?
At 121cm, you can seal four or five standard commercial vacuum bags side by side in a single cycle, depending on the bag widths being used. All bags need to have their open ends positioned correctly across the sealing strip within the 121cm width.
Is this machine suitable for ESD and industrial packaging?
Yes. LAVA recommends the V.350, V.400, V.500, and V.1200 for ESD anti-static bag sealing (i-Vac) and industrial vacuum packaging. The V.1200 specifically covers wide-format industrial and electronics packaging applications where the 46cm or 72cm machines are insufficient.
What is the correct L+ pressure range on this machine?
The L+ regulator adjusts vacuum pressure down to approximately -0.2 bar,the same lower limit as the V.350 and V.400.
Does it require three-phase power?
What bags does it use?
Any embossed vacuum bag or roll up to 121cm wide. LAVA’s vacuum sealer bags and vacuum seal rolls are compatible. For bag widths beyond standard catalogue sizes, custom-width rolls are available on request.
